As the population of senior citizens increases, the medical field has experienced rapid growth, providing vast opportunities in all aspects of medical administration. The Medical Office Assistant program at Trillium College provides in-depth coverage of medical terminology, medical office administration, medical transcription, and word processing. Emphasis in the medical assisting programs will be placed, first and foremost, on professional conduct, ethics, and standards within the medical environment.
Upon receiving their Medical Office Assistant diploma, graduates will have a wide range of options for deciding where to apply their administration skills. Doctors’ offices, hospitals, specialist clinics, wellness centers, dental environments, insurance agencies, pharmaceutical companies, medical sales organizations and government facilities – all are potential employers. |
