This new program at Waterloo will prepare you for careers in industrial or commercial settings where composite materials, coatings, ceramics, semiconductor materials, fuel cells, energy storage devices, and solar cells are involved.
You'll build on your creativity and innovation to develop a deeper understanding of materials, biomaterials, and nanomaterials, as well as learn about their current application to and implications for society. You'll be able to explore careers in teaching and research positions within universities or governments, as well as continue your education into a wide range of graduate programs.
