Description:The Concurrent Education Program offers students who are beginning their university studies, and wish to pursue a career in teaching, an opportunity to complete the Teacher Education Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree program (leading to an Ontario Certificate of Qualification and Registration - OQR) while earning their undergraduate degree. Teacher candidates develop teaching-related skills, knowledge, and experiences throughout their five-year program.

Brock’s Concurrent Teacher Education program is for students who are passionate about learning and the profession of teaching. Students experience a vibrant curriculum of study leading to teaching certification in Ontario at the Primary/Junior (grades K-6), Junior/Intermediate (grades 4-10, emphasis on grades 4-8) or the Intermediate/Senior (grades 7-12) level.

Six Grade 12U/M courses are required, including English and a 4U Math. French majors also require one of FSF4U, FEF4U, or FIF4U.
