Description:Seneca’s Esthetics and Spa Therapies program provides you with the training you need to perfect your services. Our dynamic curriculum and real–life experiences will allow you to gain the confidence you need through working with clients in Evolutions Spa, our on–campus spa. The third-year will prepare you to delve into more specialized and advanced services and therapies provided in the spa and medi–spa environment and give you the opportunity to earn the globally recognized designation of a CIDESCO Esthetician.

The on–campus Evolutions Spa provides students with the time and opportunity to perfect their services and practice working with customers in a real–life spa.

Admission Requirements

  •  Grade12 English 

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with Grade 12 English: ENG4(C) or ENG4(U); OR Mature Student Status (age 19 or older) with the above prerequisite course(s), their equivalent(s) or appropriate Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) Certificate program credits (see Academic Upgrading). Required - Current medical report and report of chest x-ray or tuberculin skin test - A valid Standard First Aid Certificate with Adult CPR (minimum 16 hours)

Test Scores:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 550] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 50] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.0]

International students whose first language is not English must fulfill an English Proficiency requirement in order to qualify for application. English Proficiency requirements are as follows for consideration: A minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper based) or 80 (internet based with no test below 20) - TOEFL code 9212, OR Academic IELTS with an overall minimum score of 6.0 (with no single test score below 5.5), OR CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment) with an overall band score of 50
