Program Information

School:Redeemer University College
Degree:Bachelor; Honours
Field of Study:International/Global Studies
Description:International Relations focuses on large systemic issues, law, rights, peace and diplomacy. Redeemer’s approach prepares students for traditional avenues of service, development, politics, and international markets. Many international relations programs focus specifically on politics or development, on the power of the state or of the market. But systemic and structural change can’t be made by laws, or sold by the markets: what’s missing is everything in the middle that makes it work. Students at Redeemer are formed by history, by political and economic theologies, world literature and music, the forces and institutions of civil society, the little platoons that underwrite our politics, our markets, and our life together.
