Description:Biomedical Physics is a discipline which integrates the study of human biology with the aspects of physics that apply to health sciences and technology. The program covers such topics as medical imaging, radiation treatment, biophysics of the circulatory system, vision, and hearing.

The four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Physics, only available in english, prepares students for the workforce, to pursue professional certification in health-related professions or to continue with graduate studies. The program has an interdisciplinary flavor in the biological and physical sciences.

Either 2 sciences or 1 science + 1 math Ontario secondary school students who apply for admission to first year at Laurentian University must present an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), as well as at least six grade 12 4U/4M courses (as specified in each program listing) with the minimum grade requirements.
