|Description:||Economics and mathematics are complementary disciplines. Indeed, much of current economic theory is expressed in terms of mathematical models, and most branches of economics use mathematical, statistical, and computational concepts extensively. Also, many advances in mathematics have been motivated by problems from economics.
This program is jointly offered by the Faculty of Mathematics and the Department of Economics in the Faculty of Arts and will prepare you for graduate school or careers with banks, government, or industry.
