Psychology is a profession offering careers that involve basic scientific research, as well as applied work relevant to such areas as education, health, industry, criminal justice, and international relations. SVSU’s psychology program offers opportunities for hands-on practice of research and professional skills not often found in other programs. Recent surveys of psychology alumni indicated 94% found employment, with 61% having completed or planning further education or professional training.
