Our faculty hold professorial appointments across the Faculty of Medicine in the Clinical, Basic Science, Rehabilitation Science, and Community Health sectors. Their research covers a wide range of multidisciplinary research areas in biomedical science, clinical science, population health and health services, bioethics, health professions education and radiation oncology. Within each field, faculty study in such areas as cardiovascular sciences, neuroscience, bioethics, membrane biology, respiratory medicine, & psychosomatic medicine.

PhD Program (with a Previous Master's Degree):MSc (or equivalent) with a reseach-based written and defended Master's thesis dissertation from a recognized university program (see above). Minimum A- (3.7/4, 80% or First Class Distinction) average in previous graduate program, and a minimum B+ (3.3/4) average in previous undergraduate program (including final year)
PhD Direct Entry Program (without a Previous Master's degree - Outstanding Candidates): A 4-year undergraduate degree from a recognized university program (see above)Previous relevant research experience, outstanding references, and a personal recommendation from potential supervisor. Must successfully complete a Qualifying Exam within 18 months of start of initial registration
