We expect students that we accept to understand workably the fundamentals of screenwriting and to be proficient in the English language (written and oral). We recommend therefore that applicants submit a feature screenplay as part of their portfolio, as well as other writings which reflect their writing abilities and creativity. Applicants may submit a DVD (or Mini-DV/VHS NTSC) of a film that has been produced from a script they have written, along with a copy of the script. Details of the production relevant to evaluating the film (e.g., its original format; student or professional production, the applicant’s involvement in the script; etc.) must be provided as well.
