Description:Statistics applies mathematical methods to the search for useful information in the face of uncertain data. From planning data collection methods, to monitoring the processing of data, and advising on the interpretation and limitations of results, statisticians are involved at many levels of government, business, and research. The Honours program prepares you for a career as a professional statistician, for work in actuarial science, or for further advanced studies. This program “fast-tracks” exceptional Statistics students, making it possible to graduate in four years instead of five with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. You can graduate with a combined B.Math/M.Sc. in Statistics.
