Description:Our courses cover such topics as: memory, motivation, and decision making; how the attitudes and actions of other people influence us; the origins and treatment of mental illness; human development from birth to death; and the way our cultural backgrounds shape the way we think and behave.

Our large and small lectures, seminars, and discussion groups offer opportunities for active learning, and for participation in field settings. The four-year Honours Psychology program expands the knowledge base with advanced courses in various areas of psychology and prepares students to apply for nonpsychology professional degrees. Students may choose to double major in any BA Honours program.
