Description:

Masters (M.Sc.) and Doctoral (Ph.D.) programs are offered in inorganic, organic, bio-organic, physical, theoretical and computational chemistry. These programs emphasize research leading to a thesis although they do include some course work. The research is carried out in well-equipped laboratories backed up by excellent staff. The M.Sc. degree usually takes two to three years and the Ph.D. three to five years of full time study.

    PhD applicants should hold a Masters degree in chemistry or a related discipline from a recognized university. Outstanding MSc applicants may be offered admission directly to the PhD program or have the opportunity to transfer from the MSc to the PhD program without first completing the MSc.
