Today's services are designed to facilitate delivery to patients and clients in their homes rather than in health facilities or institutions. Home Care Assistants are called upon to provide basic care and services to persons of all ages who have physical or mental disabilities on the basis of a holistic care plan. Graduates work in the public, private and community health networks, in particular in home care settings as well as in various living environments offering basic care and services to individuals. |
