Description:

An automobile technician is often the lifeline of a vehicle in need of attention and repair. Aviron Technical Institute provides an in-depth education in discipline of Automobile Mechanics. This superior training grants our graduates the ability to keep cars safely on the road and useful to their drivers. Students will acquire the skill and know-how that will allow them to perform preventative and corrective mechanic work, inspect vehicles with the goal of identifying the cause and source of operating failures.

The program curriculum is built to teach the modern techniques of mounting/dismounting vehicle engines, diagnosis, repair, adjustment, maintenance, replacement, and installation of transmissions, brake systems, hydraulic components, electrical and fuel injection systems, as well proficiently reading and comprehending schematic blueprints.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    All students are asked provide basic criteria: a birth certificate with parent names, a ministry of education school transcript, and 2 small photos (4 photos for Auto Mechanics program). Additional academic requirements apply--speak to councilors for more information.
