| The program is designed to give intense clinical exposure to all rheumatologic problems. The residents will rotate through a variety of clinics at McMaster University system which serves as the basis of the program. In addition, the resident will spend time on the city-wide inpatient service, covering three tertiary care hospitals in Hamilton, seeing a variety of inpatient consults and triaging urgent outpatient referrals. The McMaster University medical services serve as a referral base for the catchment areas that include the Niagara, Guelph, and Brantford regions and environs. |

All residents to be considered for training in Rheumatology at McMaster must have three years of training in an approved Internal Medicine Residency Training Program. |
