Description:

The program is designed to give intense clinical exposure to all rheumatologic problems. The residents will rotate through a variety of clinics at McMaster University system which serves as the basis of the program. In addition, the resident will spend time on the city-wide inpatient service, covering three tertiary care hospitals in Hamilton, seeing a variety of inpatient consults and triaging urgent outpatient referrals. The McMaster University medical services serve as a referral base for the catchment areas that include the Niagara, Guelph, and Brantford regions and environs.

    All residents to be considered for training in Rheumatology at McMaster must have three years of training in an approved Internal Medicine Residency Training Program.
