Description:The Internet plays a pivotal role in the communication strategies of both public and private institutions. Students, therefore, will integrate knowledge and skills in web-based technologies with those in journalism, photography, and graphic design. In state-of-the-art labs, they will create content using current software applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, and Fireworks. You will produce corporate video and audio for the Web and for other applications. You will be capable of designing and providing content for Websites.

Traditional communications, relationship building, and interpersonal skills are fundamental and valuable to the communications specialist. Students will research, write, and design communications for the page, such as press releases, brochures, and calendars. You will create and manage the components of in-house meetings and media conferences and will handle person-to-person communication in all types of settings.
