|Description:||The accounting profession provides you with a wide range of opportunities. This could mean joining an accounting firm, starting your own practice, consulting services to clients, senior management, or working for a business or non-profit organization. Your studies in accounting will include recording financial transactions; preparing financial statements; measuring the costs of products, services and activities; determining whether a business should undertake investments in product improvements, equipment and facilities; analyzing the performance of a business against its goals; and projecting the financial impact of contemplated business decisions.
Courses taken at Redeemer are recognized towards the requirements for the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.

Applicants from Ontario are required to have successfully completed Grade 12 U English, and five additional Grade 12 U or M level courses. Applicants are also recommended to have Grade 12 U Advanced Functions and Grade 12 U Data Management. - Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 570] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5]
Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in English through one of the following: TOEFL test score of 570, IELTS test score of 6.5, or CAEL test score of 70. Students who have studied for the last three years in a school where English is the primary spoken/written language may be exempt from language requirements.
