Description:

The department offers programs leading to the degrees of MEng, MScE and PhD. Please refer to the calendar of the School of Graduate Studies for more information on the requirements for these programs and for a list of the graduate courses offered. Graduate programs in biomedical engineering and nuclear engineering, in association, respectively, with the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, and the Department of Chemical Engineering are also provided.

    Candidates will generally possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a first or second division standing from this University, or its equivalent from another university. For some research fields, consideration will be given to applicants whose undergraduate degrees are in appropriate related disciplines.
