The department offers programs leading to the degrees of MEng, MScE and PhD. Graduate programs in biomedical engineering and nuclear engineering, in association, respectively, with the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, and the Department of Chemical Engineering are also provided.

Candidates will generally possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a first or second division standing from this University, or its equivalent from another university. For some research fields, consideration will be given to applicants whose undergraduate degrees are in appropriate related disciplines. |
