| Graduate study in Sociology at UNB prepares you for a variety of careers and our graduates have gone on to work both inside and outside academe. The MA Program ensures that the students acquire a thorough knowledge of sociological theory, methodology, and a body of literature in a substantive area of sociology. |

Masters applicants require an undergraduate Major or Honours degree in Sociology (or equivalent) and a minimum GPA of 3.5 (a B+). Students with an undergraduate degree outside of Sociology may be considered following completion of additional courses equivalent to a Sociology Major or Honours degree. (Please contact the Sociology Graduate Studies Director for more information.)
