|Description:||Our program will prepare you to deal with emerging issues in public health affecting local and international communities. As the only Bachelor of Public Health degree in Canada, our program provides you with a highly sought-after specialization. Our program focuses on individual, community and population health and wellness with an emphasis on health promotion, health administration, health policy and health programming and evaluation.
You’ll learn about the biological, social and environmental determinants of important health issues and explore disease prevention and health promotion strategies. You’ll study emerging diseases and chronic health issues in both developing and developed countries. Your skills may be applied to developing public health programs and policies; planning, implementing and managing disease prevention and health promotion programs; or conducting health research.

- Grade12 Biology or Grade12 Chemistry
Ontario secondary school students must have a minimum of six 4U or 4M courses and have completed the OSSD to be considered for admission (or equivalent). Strongly recommended subjects: 12M Science (SNC4M), Exercise Science (PSE4U), or Introductory Kinesiology (PSK4U) and one 3U math.
