Description:

Statistics have shown that the majority of foreign-trained Registered Nurses (RN) who come to Canada and take the RN Exam have failed. Even though these nurses are qualified health care professionals in their own country, the reasons for failure in Canada have been predominantly the language/comprehension barrier, the difference in nursing standards, and difficulty in cultural adaptation. OMNI College responded to this situation by designing a program, the RN Licensure Preparation Program, which teaches the specific occupational language and cultural skills necessary to work effectively as a professional nurse in Canada.

If you have been trained as a Registered Nurse in another country, and would like to work as a Nurse in Canada, the RN Licensure Preparation Program is the right course for you. The program was designed to upgrade your skills to meet Canadian standards and language in preparation of taking the Canadian RN Exam (CRNE). In order to work as an RN in Canada, you must first write and pass this exam. Following the completion of OMNI’s program, you will be more prepared to take the RN exam and achieve a passing grade.
