Description:Program focus is to prepare graduates to contribute to solutions of both theoretical and applied problems. The program offers opportunities for research and professional training. The 77 professors include several who are cross-appointed to other graduate programs such as Biology, Kinesiology & Health Science, Philosophy and Women’s Studies.

The program is associated with many research units at York, including: Institute for Social Research; LaMarsh Centre for Research on Violence & Conflict Resolution; Centre for Vision Research; Centre for Research in Earth & Space Science; and the Centre for Feminist Research.
