Description:You’ll join a small group of 50 students supervised by 32 professors whose research is linked to research institutes including the York Centre for Asian Research, the City Institute, the Centre for Work & Society, the Centre for Refugee Studies, the Centre for Feminist Research and the Centre for Research on Latin America & the Caribbean.

Areas of interest include biogeography immigration, wetlands, post-colonialism, globalization, political ecology, place and identity, GIS and remote sensing, northern environments, transnationalism, feminist geography and labour processes. The Graduate Association of Geography Students has an active social program and promotes the interests of Geography graduates in the University.
