| KPU delivers in-school technical training for industrial mechanic/millwright apprenticeship levels 1, 2, 3 and 4. An individual can become certified as an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright by completing this program. Apprenticeship levels are seven weeks long and the program requires 6,600 work-based training hours. This is a Red Seal trade. |
These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
In addition to general admission requirements, the following requirements also apply:
--Active apprentice registration in the BC Apprenticeship system
--A valid Trade Worker Identification from the Industry Training Authority (ITA-ID). If you do not have an ITA-ID, you will need to complete an apprenticeship registration form through the ITA prior to enrolling. |
