Students have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in communications, mathematics, biology, physics, and general and organic chemistry so they are well-prepared for the rigours of their next academic program. In addition, the program provides students with the opportunity to learn about potential careers in the health sciences and identify other programs focusing on the biological or physical sciences that enable them to achieve their career objectives. The curriculum has been designed to meet subject specific entrance requirements for admission to advanced diploma or degree programs within two broad fields: health sciences and general sciences.
