Description:

The Personal Support Worker program was developed as part of the Ontario Government’s initiative to reform community support programs and services. This relief is provided to people in long-term care facilities, group homes, and those who are house bound in the community. Trillium College has answered this call with our Personal Support Worker program. Replacing and consolidating Health Care Aide and Home Support Worker (Levels I, II and III), the Personal Support Worker program standardizes training and provides a solid educational base for workers who provide long-term care and support services in both institutional and community settings.
