Description:The School of Indigenous Relations’ Honours Bachelor of Social Work is a culturally-specific Indigenous Social Work program that is recognized and accredited by the Canadian Association of Social Work Education (CASWE). The goal of the School of Indigenous Relations is to provide an accredited social work degree that offers knowledge, skills and experience to work effectively with Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. Students will learn about Indigenous traditional teachings, theories and practices as well as acquire conventional
social work theories and practices throughout the professional years of the program (2nd, 3rd & 4th years). The program is open to all students regardless of background or heritage.
