Employment opportunities in the field of early childcare assistant increase with further education and work experience. The Early Childcare Assistant diploma program offered by Goodwin College provides students with hands-on experience and practical projects; they learn how to develop and conduct activities for young children, communicate effectively with children and their parents, maintain a safe learning environment for children, and demonstrate appropriate child guidance and behavior management techniques. |

Requirements include a level “ C” CPR and first aid certificate, a police background check for criminal records, a medical certificate (and immunization report from doctor), and a completed industry-related pre-test. |
