Description:This program is designed for students with an interest in the physical sciences and who wish to understand how the earth works. It integrates three summer field schools with classroom studies in mineralogy, geochemistry, sedimentology, petrology, and structural geology. This program is designed for long term careers in mineral exploration, the mining industries, government, and consulting agencies, or for further studies at the M.Sc. and PhD levels.

Either 2 sciences or 1 science + 1 math Ontario secondary school students who apply for admission to first year at Laurentian University must present an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), as well as at least six grade 12 4U/4M courses (as specified in each program listing) with the minimum grade requirements.
