Description:Our Clinical program has held continuous accreditation from the Canadian Psychological Association for more than 20 years. This accreditation attests to the high quality of both the research and applied practice components of our programs. Students in the Clinical Program can specialize in adult, child, or neuropsychology tracks. Through these programs students can access a variety of psychotherapy modalities, such as CBT, EFT, psychodynamic and family therapy.

Admission Requirements

Test Scores:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 250] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 7] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 100] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 600]

Applicants are required to take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) General Test (60th percentile minimum ranking). All applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in English to be considered for admission: TOEFL minimum scores: 250, (600) , IBT-100 or 7 on the IELTS (if applicable).

Applicants are required to have a four-year honours BA or BSc psychology degree with thesis (or an equivalent degree with 18-20 semester psychology courses and thesis or similar project), a minimum major and cumulative GPA of B, and three letters of recommendation. The first phase of the doctoral program involves the completion of a master's degree. Post-master's advancement in the doctoral program will be based on the quality of performance in fulfilling the requirements for the master's degree.
