Description:

Solid foundations are important with any new field of study. Although our additional and advanced courses help the student specialize in their area of interest, Makeup Art with Airbrush is the basis for a comprehensive and dynamic understanding of makeup art fundamentals. Two innovative methods of training happen simultaneously. Students are exposed to a variety of 'industry looks.' These broad-range looks are then perfected into specific media, be it fashion, film, or theatre. Each medium enriches the other, and strengthens the student's overall technique. This is the basis for further course study. Full-spectrum training allows the student greater job potential and more fluidity within the industry, as work is constantly changing. Graduates will be qualified to work in the bridal industry, cosmetic retail, spas, education and training, and television and film.

This program is taken on a full-time basis and consists of 218 hours of instruction. Courses run Monday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Start dates are in Oct. 15, 2008, and Feb. 17, 2009.
