Learn how complex cells work together to produce an integrated whole. Physiology courses and research span the whole spectrum of living organisms, from events at the molecular level to integrated responses of the whole animal, offering a whole perspective on how the body works. Career paths include graduate or professional schools, employment in drug and pharmaceutical companies; marketing, research and development in biotechnology; government laboratories in health and environmental sciences.

Although Western offers first year Physics courses that do not require secondary school Physics as a prerequisite, it is strongly recommended that students complete Physics, SPH4U.
