| To become a massage therapist, the student must acquire fundamental understanding of the human being. The basics of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and human relations are essential to understanding how we as humans function. Particular focus is placed on studying and practicing massage therapy techniques. Internships are integrated early in the learning process so that clinical experience is gained quickly, to help better integrate theory and practice. |
