Description:Chemical engineering is one of the most fundamental and broadly applied branches of engineering, dealing with all manner of processes that are based on chemical and biological interactions. Chemical engineers are creative problem solvers who use their scientific and technical knowledge to design and develop processes for the safe and environmentally sound manufacture, use, and disposal of a vast range of products that are used throughout society.

In addition to the general degree in Chemical Engineering, options include specializations in extractive metallurgical engineering and in environmental engineering. The Co-operative Education program is completed over five years.
