Academy’s 1400 Hour Hair Program is an apprenticeship program governed by the Apprenticeship Board of Alberta. This program offers extensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience through 1400 hours of technical training. Following successful completion at Academy, students are often confident and ready to write the provincial exam as soon as they are out of school. Students will then continue and complete their Apprenticeship in a Salon.
Beyond receiving comprehensive and thorough training in all the basics of Hairstyling, we strive to offer our students an edge & advantage in their training. We include extensive advanced classes in Cutting, Color & Up-Do’s as well as host guest instructors to provide our students with the latest trends in the Industry.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and have completed Math 14 and English 10 (or equivalent) or the APHD Entrance Exam. Please refer to website for more details. |
