Description:

The Master of Arts in Theology is a graduate program providing students with the training required to foster their theological knowledge and skills by concentrating on key fundamental questions in the two main fields of theology: i) sources (with the subject areas of exegesis and history of dogmas/Christianity) and ii) theological reflection (with the subject areas of systematic theology and ethics). The general objective of the program is to deepen the reflection on a specific theological problem. Using pro-seminars, elective courses and the writing of a thesis, the program aims for students to acquire working methods and instruments necessary for research and scientific work in theology, as well as to achieve a competency in reading methods and interpretative frameworks. The students will also develop skills that will enable them to participate in active discussions on theological issues to foster their critical thinking.
