Description:

If you have a knack for visualizing ideas and getting them down on paper, the Engineering Design and Drafting Technology program can help you step up to the drawing board and create a blueprint for your future. Our program will provide you with both the theory and experience you need to succeed on the job. Through an immersive blend of theory and hands-on training, you’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of design and drafting fundamentals.

Prerequisites:

  •  Grade12 Mathematics 
  •   Physics  or   Science 
  •  Grade12 English 
You must provide high school transcripts showing successful completion of a Canadian high school diploma from a publicly-funded institution with successful completion of an English 30-2 or equivalent course. Applicants to this program must also satisfy the following specific course requirements (or equivalencies):

a minimum grade of 50 per cent in Grade 12 Math (equivalent to Alberta’s Math 30-1) or 60 per cent in Grade 12 Math (equivalent to Alberta’s Math 30-2)
Grade 11 Physics or Grade 12 Science
