The Saskatchewan Polytechnic/SAC Commercial Pilot program is one of the most innovative, highly-respected programs in Canada. When you graduate, you’ll have your Commercial Pilot Licence with multi-engine instrument rating or single-engine instrument rating.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants are required to have Grade 12. Physics 30, Pre-Calculus 20 and Foundations of Mathematics 30 are recommended.
    Test Scores:
    • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 550] or CanTEST [min. 4.5] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 81]
    Additional Admission Requirements:
      Applicants are required to have a Private Pilot's License, and a Category 1 Medical Certificate from a Transport Canada approved medical examiner; (it can take up to two months to complete this certificate; you may wish to plan your application to the program accordingly).
