Description:

Chemistry is the study of atoms, molecules and their interactions. It is often described as the central science because studies in biology, geology, and physics examine the gross behaviour of materials which is a reflection of what is occurring at the molecular level.

Chemistry faculty in Saint John offers the first year of the chemistry programs offered on the Fredericton campus. They also offer upper level courses that lead to a chemistry minor and specialized offerings designed to support other programs such as biology, engineering and arts.
