|Description:||To obtain a Certificate in the Prairie Horticulture program, students must complete the specified number of required courses together with the courses specified for a particular stream and maintain a cumulative weighted grade point average of 2.0.
A total of eight courses equalling 360 hours or 36 credits represents the minimum requirement for the award of a certificate. The Prairie Horticulture program is designed to be a part-time, home-study program. Generally, one 60 hour course or two 30 hour courses would be a reasonable load for each term, especially if you have family, work or other committments.
