Description:

Becoming a Paralegal is one of the most prestigious career paths one can choose. It has been predicted that Paralegals in Canada are in high demand due to their contribution to the legal profession. Once Paralegals are within the field, they work alongside Lawyers and have a variety of responsibilities involving legal accounting to criminal law. As legal firms increase in size, Paralegals are in demand in the field and have the potential to earn a significant salary.

Students who are able to complete the program will have all the fundamentals that will ensure success upon graduation. In the Paralegal professional, one must be able to perform a variety of different functions. The triOS program gives students a taste of each area they will come in contact with once they enter the field. The Paralegal program at triOS College is also accredited by The Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC). Students who complete the course are eligible to apply for admission to the Paralegal Licensing Program with the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC).

    High School Graduation Diploma or Mature Student Status (18 years of age and academic achievement assessment passed); passing score on the triOS assessment examination; admission interview to determine suitability for a career in the legal field and two (2) letters of reference attesting to the applicant’s moral character, integrity and trustworthiness.
