Description:In today's competitive marketplace, companies look for professionals who can use scientific and business knowledge to transform research ideas into products and services. Become one of these sought-after professionals by joining the only accountancy program in Canada to combine biotechnology and accounting along with paid co-op work terms. You'll take courses in biology, biochemistry, and biotechnology along with accounting, auditing, financial management, and taxation. You'll also explore possible career areas and gain 16 months of paid work experience through the world's largest co-op program.

With just 10 students in first year, get to know your classmates and benefit from the specialized labs and classes of the larger Faculty of Science. This program leads to the Master of Accountancy program, which will qualify you to write the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants exam required to become a Chartered Professional Accountant. As a graduate with a foundation in science and accounting, you'll be well prepared for careers in areas such as accounting, business development, and financial analysis.

  • 2 of  Grade12 Biology  or  Grade12 Chemistry  or  Grade12 Earth and Space Science  or  Grade12 Mathematics of Data Management 

6 Grade 12 U and/or M courses including: - English (minimum final grade of 70% is required) - Advanced Functions (minimum final grade of 70% is required) - Calculus and Vectors (minimum final grade of 70% is required) - Two of: Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, Mathematics of Data Management, Physics - Recommended courses: Chemistry, Biology, Principles of Financial Accounting

Test Scores:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 90] or Michigan English Language Assessment Battery [min. 80] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 75]
