Degree:Master
Field of Study:Economics, General
Description:The Master of Arts (M.A.) program in economics is a small program that seeks students who want to learn advanced material. The small size enables you to meet faculty members easily. Discussing economic problems, in and out of the classroom, offers you additional opportunities to explore economic issues.

This program can help you with most issues that interest you, because our faculty have been very successful in winning research grants on a wide variety of topics from the Social Science and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council (NSERC). The publications produced by this research are listed at the back of a brochure. Some of these publications resulted from collaboration with a student writing their master's paper.
