This program provides an introduction to drawing and painting through a blend of courses focused on both theory and technique.
You will be challenged to embrace the freedom and rigour of creating with the two-dimensional surface. This program blends theory and practice with extensive hands-on exercises to polish techniques and skills. Abstract, realism, non-objective, figurative, contemporary: you will be exposed to diverse, modern approaches to drawing and painting and will create many pieces within these styles. Learn fundamental skills such as how to stretch canvas as well as colour mixing techniques. Our program is designed to provide those with basic to intermediate skills the training and experience needed to move to a more advanced level of studio practice. |
