Description:Humber's Early Childhood Education program provides each student with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide high-quality childcare and education for children from birth up to age 12 in a variety of settings. The program philosophy is eclectic and emphasizes a holistic approach to enhance the child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual developmental areas. In addition, communication skills and interpersonal relationships between children, parents, and other professionals are essential elements within the program. Our program also emphasizes important career skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, and leadership.

  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 550] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 213] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6] or Michigan English Language Assessment Battery [min. 76]
Additional Admission Requirements:
    Upon acceptance into the program, students must complete the following prior to the first day of school: immunization/health record (according to standards of Humber's Health Centre), a Standard First Aid Certificate, Heartsaver AED (C), and a Police Record Check.
