Recreation and Leisure Studies at Waterloo is one of the most established recreation programs in Canada and was the first to offer the co-op system of study. Waterloo continues to be North America’s top-rated leisure department in terms of research.

Your courses, field trips, and practicum placements will teach you about all aspects of recreation and leisure, including sport, tourism, parks, municipal recreation, outdoor recreation, and therapeutic recreation.
