Description:Algonquin College’s two year Recreation and Leisure Services program prepare students to pursue a professional career related to leadership positions in sport, recreation, wellness and community development. Students learn what it takes to make a difference in the community by promoting and advocating for the benefits of recreation, leisure and healthy active living. Students benefit from over 300 hours of field placement providing them with on the job training and active experience in the recreation industry. Be part of a profession where you will be able to develop and support inclusive, culturally relevant, accessible recreation facilities, parks and open spaces as well as leisure and wellness programs and events for people of all ages from children to seniors.
