|Description:||This two-year Ontario College Diploma program provides practical training in traditional and multiplatform journalism. The award-winning Algonquin Times, named Canada`s top campus newspaper in 2014, and Ottawa`s student magazine, Glue, are the primary learning publications in levels two and three of the program.
Students generate story ideas, write and edit copy, create photo and video journalism and produce newscasts for the College radio station, CKDJ. In the fourth level, students complete field placements at media outlets and learn to operate as a freelance journalist.

Amounts include tuition fee, program specific lab and material fees, applicable eText fees, Students` Association fees and compulsory ancillary fees. Books and supplies cost approximately $700 in the first year and $300 in the second year.
