Description:

The four-year Sociology program provides critical skills for understanding and interpreting the social world. This program focuses on social inequality through the study of gender, sexuality, cultural identity, racialization, work, and social movements. Students in this four-year program produce a thesis that prepares them well for graduate studies. Sociology students can become employment counsellors, human rights workers, social service workers, affirmative action coordinators or social researchers. Many use their undergraduate degree in Sociology as a successful pathway into law school, teacher’s education, graduate cultural theory, and research.
